Event Description

Festival Dia de Muertos MTL is a festival that invites Montrealers to connect with the meaning of life and death through the Mexican tradition known as the Day of the Dead. Participants will appreciate the altars of the dead, the music and the typical flavors of this feast. This 2022 edition goes beyond the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce district to go to Saint -Leonard borough and wishes to bring to a large number of Montrealers the fantasy, beauty and reflection linked to this special day. The altars of the Festival will be on display from October 15, an exhibition entitled Les cycles de la vie et de la mort is currently underway at the Maison de la Culture NDG-Botrel and a big party, the Manalli will take place on October 29 from 12 a.m. to 6 p.m. These events are FREE for everyone.
