Evocación

Evocation, is a multidisciplinary scenic performance in which the interpreters seek to express their impressions, looks and reflections on Latin America through texts – mainly by Eduardo Galeano – body language, live music and audiovisual elements. The proposal seeks to generate through a narrative the different ideas of the residents of the Latin American community, and the Quebec community regarding the vision that exists of the continent.
Evocation is a short journey through the emotions, feelings, and reflections that look from a distance at a territory that has been exploited and dominated, but despite that, it has never lost its sense of vindication and joy.

The dynamic of the intervention is based on the dialogue between musicians, actors, dancers, and audiovisual projections, accompanied by stories and sound effects. The performance lasts approximately 15 minutes.
